where the other culture is no longer recognized. It is explained that these cultures are not primitive stages of our own, but instead, parallel lines of evolution, that deserve a great level of respect. This culture is already condemned, however, we can use their case as an example, teaching us not to commit the same errors with all the other cultures that continue to survive on this planet.
A version of this webpage is also included in the exhibition for visitors to scroll through and get more in-depth information about the culture during their visit.
The price does not include the printing of posters, brochures or postcards. The museum will have to provide the display cases and assume the responsibility of providing guides.
An appearance of a Waorani person can be arranged upon the museums request, assuming the costs of the member’s trip and stay. During their stay, this person will take part in workshops teaching the visitors about various aspects of the Waorani ways.

EXHIBITION INFORMATION
Traditional bracelet

The heart of this exhibition shows the traditional life of the Waorani people. This is the life that the uncontacted groups continue to live. To portray this lifestyle, the exhibition shows a great quantity of original items, all of them made by the members of the Waorani culture. Some of these pieces are also shown in different stages of their creation in order to illustrate how easily the members of this culture can transform the materials found in nature to serve their necessities. The exhibition also includes a wide photography display showing how the items are made and how they are used in the daily life of the Waorani. These photographs also show scenes of every aspect of the Waorani life (the hunt, the folklore, the fauna and flora, etc.).

The photographs towards the end of this exhibition show the radical changes that the Waorani people are having to endure due to the immense cultural impacts. The exhibition talks about problems that seem to be a thing of the past, however, they are still very present in the life of the Waorani people. Some examples of these problems include those that are created by the oil companies, missionaries, logging companies and more recently, by tourism. Even the modern Waorani are a deathly danger to the bands that continue their isolation in order to preserve their traditions hidden in the rainforest.

Throughout the exhibition the visitor is invited to reflect upon the controversial topic of whether or not western culture is superior solely because it is the most widely spread.  Further, the visitor is put in the position to analyze whether or not western culture has the right to influence other cultures to the point

The price of the exhibition includes the setup, the takedown and the stay of the author during the exhibition’s inauguration, setup and takedown. The author will also give the museum a book with an explanation of each piece and an explanation of each photograph in the exhibition.
